From idea to permit—let’s put your retreat on a smart, steady path.
At Facet Retreats™, we start with the land, not a template. Bring your mountain slope, beach lot, or that “someday” idea—we’ll walk you through the smartest next step so your project fits its site, budget, and timeline. (Calm process included. Coffee optional.)

2) Site Strategy Review — 30 minutes (Virtual)
The most valuable half hour you’ll spend before you spend real money. We’ll look at your parcel (or top contenders) and discuss zoning, slopes, utilities, setbacks, access, and “what can actually be built”—using the same land-first lens that drives our work.
You’ll leave with: a path forward and what to watch for before design begins.
Great for: comparing lots, reality-checking a dream site, or aligning partners early.

What to Bring (or email ahead)
Street address or parcel ID (plus any survey, topo, or MLS links you have)
Your must-haves, nice-to-haves, and “deal-breakers”
Any HOA/ARC rules or local quirks you’ve heard about
For coastal sites: flood, dune, and setback info if available
For mountain sites: drive slope, utilities, and any steep-slope overlays
(If you don’t have these yet—no stress. We’ll still make it productive.)
How Our Process Helps (and a quick horror story)
We’ve seen the avoidable mistakes: buyers who fall in love with a view lot they can’t reasonably access… coastal builds that ignored dune setbacks… cabins that needed costly retaining because no one read the topo. Those projects got more expensive, slower, and smaller than they should’ve been.
Our approach flips that script—site intelligence first, then design clarity, then build-ready documentation—so you avoid surprises, glide through permitting, and get a retreat that lives beautifully and performs well. Facet Retreats
